learning
I have found that at any age you can learn something new. So dear readers I highly encourage you all to go on the National Park Service website and become a junior ranger. Why you may ask? Well....
1. You learn more history then in school
2. It's free
3. You get a certificate and badge or patch
4. You see this country in a different light
5. You can do this at any age
So I know this sounds dumb and boring. But it's not. I have learned at lot more then I ever did when I went to school. I mean sure some of the activities are for kids but you can still do them and learn something. At this day and age we need to learn more in order to save history from being taken away from us. Not everything we learn should come from school. Learning shouldn't have to stop once we are out of college. I'm learning about cars and their parts from my fiancé and his dad. I bought books on seahorses and jellyfish because I want to learn more about them and why they look the way they do. Yes, I know I sound like a complete nerd but oh well. For example, tonight my grandmother and I are going to our local library to learn more about tea. The program was for three Mondays and tonight is the last one. Last Monday night we learned about blossoming tea. What that means is you take the tea and string it together and you would put a flower in the middle then you would make sure that there was enough space for air to expand the tea that you strung together and it's supposed to blossom. So that was cool.
So my readers have a good day. And never stop learning.
