new beginnings

Hello my readers! Today's topic is new beginnings because I think it is an important topic to discuss today.  What do we mean by new beginnings? Well, I think it means when you start a new chapter or goal in your life.  Do we all want one? Of course! But how do we get that? It depends on what you are working towards in life.  Is it going to be easy? No. But if you take it step by step and day by day you can start over.  Just don't forget how you are feeling while changing. Because your mental health is still important in the process of this change.  So my readers remember to work towards whatever goal you have and take care of yourself along the way.  Question of the day: what are your thoughts on today's topic?  Challenge of the day: Start with a new beginning each day and write how it makes you feel.

self care

Hello my wonderful readers! I hope everyone is doing well.  As you noticed the title for this is called self-care. Now what does that mean? To me that means taken care of your personal needs. Now you must be wondering if that is selfish? No! You have every right to put you first when you're body is telling you to. Self-care comes in many different ways. For example:  1. Reading all day 2. Taking a nice shower  3. Watching tv 4. Meditating or doing yoga 5. Working out 6. Eating what makes you happy Etc  I think we should all take a mental health day at least twice a month. Because it is important to recharge after a hard week at work. Most people complete a to do list when they take a day off from work.  So have fun my readers. Take time to relax and enjoy life. Do something with a loved one or do something for yourself that will make you happy.  Question of the day: what is your self care routine? Challenge of the day: Take one day off and rest just to see ...

peace

Peace is a word that needs to be used these days with everything that is going on in the world. But how do we achieve this? By being kind to each other and helping one another. Is it hard? No, but it helps. Yes, it will take baby steps but if we work together we can reach world peace. I hope that people see that it's our differences that make us who we are. We need to stop telling people to change themselves. I hope people find peace in their lives. So namasta my friends. Question for the day: How would you achieve peace in the world? Challenge of the day: Be kind and helpful to anyone who needs a good day.

Start overs

Start overs are a good thing in life because you need to learn from your mistakes that you made in the past. My start over was when my ex fiance and I broke up. That was a dark time for me but my start over came in the form of yoga and meditation. I felt so much better afterwards. Yes I made mistakes but I chose to move forward with my life. I am proud to say that I have a new boyfriend who actually loves me and does things with me. And I will make sure to start over on my health journey. So how many start overs are there? I don't know but I will use them and turn them into a lesson. So my wonderful readers I hope you have a good day. Question of the day: What do you think of start overs? Challenge of the day: Think of one start over that made you think about that lesson you learned during your start over.

Restarts

Hello my readers! I hope everyone had a good holiday season? Today's post is about restarts. It seems like every year we all say we are going to do things different things next year or the following year. I mean that's why people say on New Year's I will change this about my life or I will do this more often. So here is my restart: 1. I will TRY to workout more 2. I will TRY to smile more 3. I will TRY to be more forgiving towards others 4. I will TRY to take deep breaths when I feel upset Notice the word try is all caps. If we just TRY we can do great things in life. All we can do is try when we do a restart. No one has the right to judge or make fun of your restarts. We all need them in life. I found that number three was easy to do once I stopped thinking about how much it hurt. I learned and I moved on. So, I hope we all learn from our restarts and see how much we grow and learn from them. Challenge of the day: Write down how you will try to restart on...
