First book review of 2022

Hello everyone!  Today's book review is about The Book Supremacy written by Kate Carlisle.  The book is about Brooklyn and her new husband Derek finding a dead body in a spy shop owned by one of Derek's old co-workers named Owen.  The book starts out in Paris and while there Derek runs into an old friend named Ned who is being watched by an unknown person.  Then things get really intense when Lark who is a co-worker of Derek's starts to get even meaner to Brooklyn.  Read more of the book to find out who and why one of the characters gets killed and what the connection is between all the killing.  I gave the book a five star rating. I love the author and I love how she goes into detail about book binding.  So please read this book and tell me what you thought of it.

Why?

Have you ever asked yourself why?  What made you question that thought or situation? I feel that at some point we ask ourselves this each and every day.  I have this moment all the time and I try to change my thought process but sometimes it doesn't always work out for me.  It sucks when you try to talk to people about how you are feeling and all they can say is either " That's on you", " Try harder," or " You'll get over it."  How are those helpful? They aren't. They make things worse for that person.  So, yes we become more quiet and not as outgoing.  I had this moment last week after work.  In my head I asked myself "What is the point in trying when all that happens is that I get yelled at or fingers snapping in my face?"  Yes, the second one did happen and let me tell you I was not happy about it at all. And no, I didn't say anything to my boss who was that one who did it. So I went home and cried until I gave myself a he...

Taking notes

Hello readers! I love this topic for the day and I will tell you why. I find that taking notes for anything that you are learning or listening to is so helpful.  When I listen to a lecture on You tube I will use my notebook and follow the class. I also use my notebook when I listen to a church sermon just so I can read back and feel something.  And yes I use a notebook when I start a job.  Now I know I sound like a nerd and that is OK, because I use one for a book list (only for books that I want to read.) I hope to look back one day I say to myself that I tried to learn new things and that I tried to grow mentally.  Now I know that people take notes differently or not at all.  That's OK.  I hope that you take the time to write until you can't.  Question of the day: How do you feel after taking notes Challenge of the day: Fill a notebook with any note and write how it made you feel
